How It All Began...

​

Like many my passion for baking started as a child, in those days it was fairy cakes, chocolate tiffin, apple pie, chocolate cake and a Christmas fruit cake. I learnt the good old fashioned way hand mixing everything with a wooden spoon, I didn’t have my trusty Kitchenaid back then.

Being driven to succeed in the corporate world taught me to be articulate, a perfectionist with a passion to deliver. Upon having two children, I once again searched for a new me, a drive to succeed by combining all of my skills.

​

After a few years of making cupcakes, novelty cakes, perfecting my recipe’s and months of training I can finally say I have found my passion for Wedding Cakes, creating beautiful works of art.

 

When I’m not creating luxury wedding cakes, you can find me gardening, baking for pleasure, relaxing with a coffee and magazine or practising sugar flowers.

I love spending time with my husband and two children who provide continued support for my work and passion. Family days out & holidays are always an adventure and there’s never a dull moment.

Along with my career in the corporate world and creating wedding cakes, I also manage and
co-ordinate weddings at the stunning Ladywood Estate nestled in the heart of Rutland, Leicestershire. Planning a wedding can be a stressful time for all and it’s a wonderful opportunity to provide support, advise & guidance to couples and families planning their dream wedding. To be part of their wedding journey and such a special day is always an honour & privilege.
